A crab is a stubby sea creature with a flat body, eight legs, and claws. You can sometimes find tiny crabs in the sand on the beach.

Three ounces of crab meat has around 74 calories, 15.4g of protein, 0.03g of carbohydrates, 0.0g of fiber, 0.9g of fat, and 0.0g of sugar.
USAGE:
Crab, like most seafood, is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and protein.
STORAGE:
Ideally, crabs should be cooked as soon as possible when they are delivered (see below for how to cook a crab). If you are unable to cook them straight away, store them in the salad area of your fridge with a damp tea towel over them.
